You see, I've been thinking recently, and I realized that religions might all actually stem from the same source. That is -- God, Allah etc. All religions seem to have one thing in common and that's Heaven and Hell. From what I've heard and what I know, as long as you're devoted to God and more or less 'free of sin', you have a place in Heaven. But sin, and you buy yourself a place in Hell.

The thing is: All our religions have Heaven and Hell, but does that mean we go to different Heavens? Perhaps Muslims go to Muslim Heaven and Christians to a Christian Heaven. That doesn't seem plausible because if there's more than 1 Heaven.. is it really Heaven? And IF there is only 1 Heaven, why do our religions mindlessly massacre one another just to prove our point that one's religion is better, or more 'right' than the other? Because if there's only one Heaven, then we're killing one another for nothing, because all of us will meet in Heaven again, anyway.

So, is there really a common Heaven?

I'm a Catholic, and I have read the Bible. I was pretty sure that God existed to a certain point of time until I started talking to a Muslim cousin of mine who showed me many loopholes in Christianity.

From then on, I have become skeptical of all the religions that exist in this age. So, I'm just really looking for the opinions of other people, to see if anyone shares my same sentiments.

Just to answer your question, there is One God. In the Bible (Isaiah 57:15) He is called the High and Lofty One which inhabiteth eternity. Eternity is effectually another dimension beyond time and space; a dimension (unlike time and space) which has no beginning and no end. Eternity is Heaven... One God / One Heaven ! To imagine anything otherwise is ludicrous. Think about it !

Other questions:

(1) All religions do not have heaven and hell. Many believe in some form of heaven, but no hell at all. Some believe in a purgatory; or a limbo state; etc... These are all in error. Outside of time and space there is no other option but eternity (Heaven). Only those who have eternal life are formatted to go there. You can only get eternal life from God, the author of all life. God gives eternal life to those whose sins are forgiven when they receive Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, as their Savior.

(2) Why do religions mindlessly massacre one another?
Answer: Because we are all born with a sin nature (because of original sin). Thank God we have the option of receiving Christ as our Savior, because we never attain to sinless perfection in our entire lifetime.

(3) All of us will meet in heaven?? Wrong ! Because not all will receive Christ as Savior, and therefore will not inherit eternal life, the necessary life format to enter into Heaven / eternity. Therefore they are destined to live forever in the lake of fire (a literal place with a time-space format / probably a universal black hole).

Hey ! God Bless !

Well, not all religions have a Heaven and a Hell, but it is interesting that some have a lot in common. Muslims, Jews, and Christians all worship the same God, the God of Abraham, so they probably would go to the same Heaven and Hell, if they existed, that is.

no. people kill eachother out of hatred or supposed duty, not out of "I'll prove there's a Hell by sending you there!" attitudes (for the most part).

if you try and unite religion, you might as well make yourself look appetising and run infront of a hungry lion. either way you're dead meat.

No, actually there is no common heaven. There is no heaven at all, nor hell nor god nor satan.

Frankly I think you need to stop thinking and get yourself a Bible and start reading.
