I love those, one time tried to dial a friend of mine from memory and miskeyed a number and got a random girl. She sounded cute so I talked with her for a while. I even called her back later on that night and talked some more.
I should have put more effort into it and tried to at least meet her though. I'm not a big blind date guy so I'm always apprehensive about that kind of thing so thats what really stopped me.

You should text them bakc and ask them who they are...If they are texting the wrong number, someone could be missing out on some relationship breaking texts. What if that person is waiting on a response and not getting one? Just ask.

could be a scam? type the number in a search engine and see if it comes up, people might have already put warnings out there.. if you're really really curious and have to do something ring from a public telephone box then you can't be charged a ridiculous amount for ringing a number and if it is a scam they won't have your number as being definately valid!

eta. if it is one of your mates winding you up then you might recognise their voice & then you can get them back without them knowing you know!!!!

lol i would text back!! maybe you'll find out how it is??
or if u have their number, ring them later on but hide your caller id so they don't know who u are, u can then see if its a voice u recognise. they might even tell u their name.

text back and ask them if you dont want to do that block the number from coming thogh to your phone you can actully do it though some phones yourself but you might need to contact your network custumer service and they will do it

ringing the number may get no reply, they may be txtng the wrong number, try replying saying as much, if theres no response you could change your sim
