well Abhinav I think first off al your name is your identity and I would not sugest that you would have to change it if the so called "Americans" or who ever it is can't spell it. I mean you name is part of who you are a person with out his name is not only dead but not exsisting. so I would say your name is not something you want to change. No one in the U.S says my name the right way but I believe that it is my rightfull name and I will never change it even if I have to die for it i would die with my name "Asrat" bye the way is my name I know is it not hard but I will bet that you will never spell it right. Any ways the other thing is that you have to give us the meaning of you name so that we could give you a name which is similar and "cool" as you want it to be. Peace out.

The first thing that came to mind is Abe, but that might not be too cool.
Try Adam, or anything that can be perceived as more ethnic sounding (because people who are ethnic try to pick really white names sometimes but it ends up they look like they are trying too hard to fit in)
Look up baby names
Look up Indian baby names and look for the more American sounding ones

Andy is a nice name or even Nick.. for an 18 year old i would pick Nick

ummmmmm maybe ur last names first initial would help to. like, some people r called like tj and names like that.... u could have something like aj?!!? idk... orrrrrr omg this is hard. ummmm..... abs?!?! navy (depending on the way u pronounce ur name it might not sound like the color...)???? or what about going by ur last name. like some people r all "hey smith, get over here!" or hmmm is the h in ur name silent or not?!?! cuz if it is pronounces u could b like hinny?!?! lol sorry. ummm what u could do is just look on one of those baby name sights and see one that might resemble ur name. good luck!!!
