Sorry, 15 lbs. in 10 days isn't doable. You'd have to burn 5,520 calories per day. In other words, eat absolutely nothing and work out for about 6 hours every single day. Then you'd end up in the hospital instead of on the cruise!

The best you can do is try for 2 lbs. per week. You have to burn (or cut from your diet) 3,500 calories for each pound you want to lose.

The first thing you need to do is pick a reasonable goal like 5 pounds. There is no possible, healthy way to lose 15 lbs in 1 1/2 weeks. If you set that as your goal then you will be greatly disappointed when you don't reach it and my end up binge eating b/c your upset. Also if you try to lose that much weight that fast you could end up really sick and not enjoy or even be able to go on your cruise. 5 lbs is more reasonable. Eat healthy; lots of fruit, protein, veggies, lots of exercise and lots of water. You would be surprised at how 5 lbs weight lose can make you feel. Good luck!

15 pounds in 1 & a half weeks isn't healthy. At most I'd say 10. The recomended weight to lose is (at most) about 4 pounds a week. I understand the want to loose weight because I need to, so here are my suggestions: Exersize for at least an hour or more a day, eat smaller portions (but DO eat), eat veggies and fruit for snacks, and drink lots of water.

I suggest that you use portion control. Eat what you usually eat if the serving is the size of your hand. Also include snacks in the morning and in the afternoon that are low in sugar. On the cruise there is a TON of food. Chances are you will gain all this weight back in less than three days. While your there take advantage of the exercize machines because if not you will gain up to 14 pounds more.

Losing more than 2-3lbs per week is unhealthy hun... Sorry to be the bearer of bad news! Make healthy choices- fruits, veggies, lean protiens, and whole grains- drink lots of water, switch to diet soda if you can't or don't want to stop drinking soda all together, avoid fruit juices they're all sugar... Try to avoid eating processed food and get at least 20 minutes of moderate intensity exercise 3 times a week...

Best Wishes to you...

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

I'll give you a piece of advice: losing 15 pounds in that short of a period of time will only cause you to overeat on your cruise. Cut back on high calorie foods, but don't put yourself through this detrimental behavior. Better to exercise.

I'm an expert on this subject, having gone through it so many times myself.
