Can someone please tell me how I would go about saving an image file in Photoshop on my pc so that it can be viewed on a mac computer. Thanks.

As long as you use the same program on the Mac to view it it is the same .PSD i think... but if you just want it as an image, always save it as a .PNG, the layers wont be editable though but it'll look the same!

You don't need to do anything special to save a PC Photoshop file so that it can be used on a Mac.

PSD will save all the layers and special effects that you have added so the Mac user can make changes etc to those layers.

Hi Tom P,

Actually Macs are very compatible with Windows. Macintosh hardware can read Widows CDs and most files produced from Windows programs. Don't worry too much about it.
