GOD is the creator of all things. Even this dumb essay. Serving GOD would be to choose a vocation that would serve others or the community as a whole. It would be an occupation that did more then just made themselves a greedy boat load of money.

if you don't go to a public school, don't do it all - just have your mom come down and b*tch about separation of church and state!
otherwise, you could either argue that god is best served by you staying home to raise your children in a christian or catholic or whatever environment, or else talk about any kind of social work, teaching, environmental conservation, any of those will make an interesting paper. be sure and include the idea that you will only be serving god if you are actually good at the vocation you choose, be a bit philosophical about it, that will make it appear that you thought about the subject rather than just tried to tell the teacher what she wanted to hear.

You can serve God in any vocation because God said go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. God wants Christians in every area of life. He needs rich people and poor people healthy people and sick people old people and young people and all different temperaments and potential. No matter where God places you or where you place yourself you will be useful for God both through what you say and the way you live.

As usual, "Oldguy" is correct. God wants to use us where ever it is that He places us in life. We just have to be open to it. In other words, God can't use us as Christians if we don't let Him. Vocation is immaterial.
