Where is the weight going from? I drink loads more water now than I used to, so its not dehydration.
The only place that looks any thinner is maybe my chin, but other than that it has made almost no difference at all. I still weigh 14st8lb (204 lbs), so I guess its just that I have to lose so much, but I just wish It would show.

Does anyone know when I might see the benifits of all of my hard work?

I have always been reasonably active, I walk and cycle evrywhere as I don't have a car. To get to University alone I either cycle 3 miles each way or walk 20mins each way to the bus stop. And that is just my minimum for most days.

Congrats on the weight loss!

Since you look at yourself all the time it's hard to recognize your own weight loss. I bet people who haven't seen you since then can tell the difference.

Get a tape measure and record your body measurements (bust, waist, hip and thigh circumference). If you keep losing you will see the numbers go down. This could provide you with the motivation you need to keep going.

Good luck!

Once you have lost another ten pounds you will see it. Think of it this way, take a pound of butter and look at it and imagine 20 bricks next to each other, that's a lot of fat. Or get a 10 pound bag of potatoes in each hand. You need to bring it into perspective, you lost a lot of water with those 20 pounds, probably 15 were water. And the more you drink the more you lose. It was sitting and bloating you up, once the water is gone, the fat comes off. Just sit tight you'll see it very soon.

Be happy it came from your face! That is what most people see anyway.

I find that after 4 weeks, I notice a difference. So every 4 weeks! Hopefully.

Great work and keep it up!

are you exercising? if you are you could be losing fat and gaining muscle. in the long run it's better for you because if you gain muscle you will burn more calories throughout the day.
