this didn't occur till last year and i have gone to the doctors about it but they aren't really that great...and they usually never do help with things i ask help for. so basically the problem is that i have a lot of gas..and i have absolutely no idea why. i'll eat something then the next minute i'll have to go to the bathroom or i'll have a lot of gas. it doesn't matter what food it is..i mean sometimes it'll be hotdogs or anything..i can't even keep track of exactly what it is. but my stomach also grumbles a lot even if i'm not hungry and i'll have to take trips to the bathroom to go #2 a lot..it's really annoying cause it has never happened before...i can't even sit in class for one second if i have to let out gas..but it's quiet haahah it's so sick, it's awful ...i have looked at other peoples questions and problems similar to my question as to..what could have caused this..

please do not answer if u have something rude to say, it's hard to deal with this problem..i really hate it

so..i've seen other ppls questions and things..and i thought maybe it could IBS[irritable bowel syndrome] and like..i talked to my mom but she didn't even wanna listen..ugh..idk..she doesn't believe me cause we already went to the docs but they're like..literally..horrible and don't care..they'll just pretend like they're doing something to help but they're not..and so..i don't know..i've tried gas-x etc and that'll stop the gas..and i heard eating a certain type of yogurt could help stop this problem..i just dunno what could have caused this problem? i went to china a year ago..and after that it occured and i also went thru a state of severe depression and i had eaten a lot of..frozen food products cause i did not want to leave my room..i don't know..it could be so many things but i hate it..it's embarassing..but no one knows about it..cept my bestest friend knows there's something wrong but doesn't know bout the gas part -.-

It could be all those things, and it could also be stress-induced...perhaps connected to the depression.

I know how you feel about the doctors- and it must be even more difficult when you're not old enough to be in charge of your healthcare.

The type of yogurt you're talking about is activia. It has probiotics, which are good bacteria needed to digest foods.

I would say stop drinking milk products (cheese and milk), try to get probiotics in the form of a pill, but if you can't, then take the yogurt - only one container, once a day.

Drink enough water every day and try to eat as much fiber in the form of fresh fruits and vegetables as possible. Don't eat fast food, junk food, fatty food and red meat.

You might try reading up on food combining; just google 'food combining' or 'food combining chart' and you'll have plenty of information at your fingertips.

My last piece of advice is to check out Brenda Watson's HOPE Formula:

YOu may want to try and take some bean-o before you know you are going to eat alot of vegatables. I do not know how old you are but you may need to have an procedure done to see what is going on in your bowels by your gastro-dr. You could have something going on in your GI track.

I have a similar problem and I asked my gastroenterologist who suggested taking Acidopholus tabs or capsules. You can find them in the health food/vitamin section.
I see them in grocery aisles, Wal Mart etc.
It really does help. The natural tabs are like the stuff in yogurt, that kills off the bad bacteria.
