My guy friend and I have always had sparks between us...but have never acted on it...recently we have been talking about being together...he says he loves me and wants to be with me. But I feel that once he gets me, he won't want me anymore...he sort of acts like that...when I call him now he is short on the phone and always asks to call me back...I'm not going to play mind games with him....is it true that guys want what they can't have and once they get it they don't want it anymore? How do keep him interested? Let me know what works for you ;)

If this guy truly loved you, you would know. He wouldn't be short with you on the phone, and he wouldn't give you the feeling that once he "gets" you, that he wouldn't want you anymore. That sounds like your instinct, and I would trust that, if I were you.

If you have to keep him interested, that's not worth it. If a guy loves you, he will be interested in you to no end! Believe me.

The whole thing about "guys want what they can't have..." is only true if it is NOT love. If you want to give yourself away to guys like that, you are free to do that...but I hope you don't.

Love yourself, your friends, enjoy life, make friends with guys, and wait for the right one who really, truly, loves you. And you will know.

Good luck, and best wishes! =)

I'm sorry to say it, but it is true with a lot of guys. I really enjoy chasing girls, but when I catch them, I want to chase something else. I wish it wasn't like that.

To be honest, don;t give it up. Make it so he will always want something from you and always leave him wanting more. Not just sex, but with everything. If you go out with him and he wants you to go back to his place, make an excuse not to. I f he calls you, end the conversation on him.

It is all about the games, and unfortunately it sounds like you need some games to set this guy straight. If you don't want to play the games, then you may end up the loser of the game.

I'm sure if this dude wants you this badly he's not just going to magically not want to be with u anymore if u 2 become a couple. I think it is dumb if the 2 of u don;t become a couple. Being with someone is the most wonderful thing in the world. Plus Guys arent girls they are not complicated and they dont change their minds about who they like every 5 seconds.

Perhaps he is loosing interest now because you've been holding out on him too long.

A guy will pursue a girl only for so long, before he starts looking at other fish in the sea.

If you want to keep him interested, then you have to move forward your relationship and become more intimate with him.

I think it's a two way street, both sexes want what they can't have, but when they get it then the thrill of the pursuit is over.

My best advice is to not like be so available to him, make him work for your affections, don't ignore him, but a little pursuit is never a bad thing.

This is only true if the girl gets boring. Keep him pleased and you and he will be happy. How do you think married people stay together?
