I'm having problems with a boy at school that I really like, as in I'm totally obsessed with him. I want to ask him to the dance, but I don't think my parents would understand...what should I do?

you could ask this boy to the dance to go as friends and then see how it goes from there and tell your parents that you like this boy and you're just going as friends to this dance.

Why would your parents not understand? Parents never think those whom their children choose to date are good enough for their children. Learn this fact while you are young. Anyone you bring home to Mom and Dad will never be good enough for you in their eyes, ever. Thats what make you their little girl, and you don't want to lose that, so do your best not to disappoint them because they love you much more than any highschool pimple face will.

Just come out and ask them if you can go to the dance with him. They might surprise you with the answer yes you may but be back at descent time.

get over him,
being a stunning boy,
i hate it when girls obsess about me. so just ask smooth,
yes pay attention and flirt, but don't be groveling, its just disputing
as for your parents depends how old you are. best thing to do is too talk to your friends,
parents usually will turn that against you when your failing in class
good luck

Be honest with your parents.Tell them your situation just like how you posted here.Parents don't like it when their children hide things from them.If they won't let you go to the dance with him, then go with your friends and just meet there.Just be friends and get to know him.

Talk to your parents first, otherwise you'll look stupid when you go back to the guy and say, "never mind".
