I just got it 3 days ago and it's healing pretty well already. I want to get in the hot tub, can I, or will it get infected or something?

Try waiting two to three weeks...

It won't get infected, but the chlorine may cause the colors to fade. I suggest you hold off for a couple of weeks until it's completely healed. It's good to put A&D ointment on it for the first week, too. It keeps the area from drying out and is an antibiotic.

you should stay away from standing water (pools, lakes, hot tubs) until your tattoo is completely healed. my artists suggests waiting a month. don't you know that hot tubs are germ baths waiting to infect your wounded skin? plus you're not supposed to soak your tattoo in water at all. even in a bath. just wait til it heals so you will have a nice looking tattoo.

There won't be any infections, because chlorine is a very good disenfectant. The problem is that chlorine is also a pretty good bleach, so it can fade your ink. You should wait at least three days, a week would be better, and until it heals up completely is ideal. Once it heals, the chlorine will not be a problem.

i would hold off your not suppose to wet it for 2 weeks and when you do its suppose to be minimal so soaking it will be money down the drain. you havent even felt the tattoo itching to come and that will irritate your sink you already got the tattoo give it time to heal then go hot tubbing.

you should not be soaking your tattoo at all until it's fully healed. you're really jumping the gun on getting into the hot tub with your new tattoo.

You need to wait 2 to 3 weeks. That should be in your after care instructions.
