How about quotes from my friends, my brother's friends and my sister's friends as grown ups now wishing their parents had been a little more like ours were. All 3 of us have been told by our high school friends that they are trying to parent a bit more like our "over protective" parents rather than like their "permisive" ones.

Even though my mom is not overprotective, I have a friend (I won't mention her name) who has overprotective parents. She is 13 going on 14 and her parents won't let her go on the computer at all, even for a school project, complain about her listening to a song that has a swear word, and tell her that shes not allowed to get her ears pierced until she is 18 (how stupid)!

Over protective parents...hmmm...i'm one of them.That's because I love and care for my children's life.If I don't protect them, they would be into so much trouble, no guidance, messed up, and the parents get criticized for it.That's because we need to keep the children safe.When our children have children of their own, how do you think they would raise their children.Be thankful for over protective parents.Children just needs to be obedient to their parents.Then their lives will be blessed.
