For example, if I went and bought adobe creative suite & ms office - are we able to install the same computer across 4 different computers in the same office?

Hi there.

You mean the same programs across 4 different computers?

It all depends what kind of licensing you've got. If you have the Volume Licensing, then yes, you can. You'll have to read the license itself to see what you can and can't do. If it's a single license, then no, it's illegal to install a copy of it on each computer in the office.

Note: Volume licensing is usually cheaper than buying 4 copies of the software for each computer.

I think, if you read the agreement, you are allowed to put the program on one computer and make one emergency backup.

If you want to put the program on additional PCs, you should buy additional copies of the program or get a license.

i dont' think you can anymore.. they have a little id thing and then it ruins your comp. call your manufacturer or soemthing and ask is the best way.. my comp. died when something liek that happens.. it just gets totally killed idk how but its a new thing with programs so people don't cheat them i guess..
