Randy "the Natural" Couture vs. Tim "the Maniac" Silvia
Who do you pick to win? Will it be a good match?
I've only recently started following the UFC and now I'm hooked. I don't know enough to know if this will be a boring fight or too quick so I'm unsure if I should order or not?

I believe the fights are usually 40 or 50 bucks, and honestly, NO, I don't think they are worth even CLOSE to that price. I'm not a big fan of watching two guys laying on top of each other, and in alot of these PPV fights sometimes, thats what you might get. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the UFC and mixed martial arts, and I understand how the ground game works... But if you've seen some ground fights that actually had some action in them, you wouldn't want to pay 40 dollars to watch Tito Ortiz slowly deliver elbows to Patrick Cote in a slow paced fight.

Keith Jardine did an excellent job on the ground against Forrest Griffin by basically knocking him out. Another good fight that had action packed ground fighting was Karo Parysian vs Nick Diaz, these two dudes are ****ing awesome. Karo vs Diego Sanchez also had good ground fighting. But again, because of the slow paced action during some of the ground-fighting, and because of the low amount of skill that some of the UFC fighters posess(compared to PRIDE FC), most of these PPV's are NOT worth 40 dollars. Dude thats a lot of money.

You can watch the fights(standing shoulder to shoulder, literally) in some bars. Or you can just pop in during main event. You can rent the videos from blockbuster or hollywood video months after the live fighting. You can buy the dvd, or you can watch some of the fights on youtube.com a short while after the PPV.

It depends. The price ($39.95) is comparable to any other PPV sports event (boxing, wrestling, etc). I think it will be a good match. The fight card also has Matt Hughes (Jason MacDonald), Rich Franklin (and Chris Lytle), and Renato "Babalou" Sobral (vs. Jason Lambert).

The fights will definitely be worth getting. Keep in mind that you also have 2 previous champions looking to make a comeback from their recent losses. Mix it all together and you've got one helluva fight night. I order the fights every month and am rarely disappointed.

Not going to be a boring fight. I say that you do one of three things... 1) look for a bar(Hooters) that will be showing the fight for free. 2) check the web for tickets and be there live and in person(i'll be at the one in houston!) --- 3) get it on PPV.
Whatever you do ---- DON'T MISS THIS ONE!!!
Franklin is going to be ready to win, so is Hughes, and I think the Main Event will be awesome!

This next one should be worth it.

The Natural coming out of retirement and straight into a title shot.

The first fight for Matt Hughes since he lost the title to GSP

The first fight for Rich "Ace" Franklin since he lost the title and got his nose destroyed by Anderson Silva

Babalou against.........damn, forget the guys name.

On paper, it's worth it.

I am buying this one, I am really looking forward to it. Not only the main event but, the whole card looks like it is giving us some great match-ups. And the return of my main man Matt Hughes.
