have a fischer stereo system,1 speaker sound is not as good.the speaker is a 3-way which has a7.5"woofer 4"midrange,3"tweeter.wiring consists of parallel wiring off woofer to each speaker with 10ohm then 6.8mf to midrange ,10ohm r.then 2.2mf to the tweeter. want to replace the cap. can get only a 2.2 &10mf cap.will the 10mf work instead of 6.8 mf capacitor ??

It will work, but it will change the cross-over filter characteristics (frequency response).

Why don't you put the 2.2 mf in parallel with the 6.8 mf?
Then the total is 9.0 mf, much closer to 10 mf.
