i really like this boy, and i mean loads. there just one problem he drinks loads. i do believe he can change and i really want to help him. My friends tell me not to go out with him. But there is just some thing there. what should i do?

First you have to accept that you can't change people. He has to want it for himself and not for any reason besides that. And it's not going to be easy, otherwise there wouldn't be so many people who drink now. Maybe you should talk to him about this before you date him.

Many alcoholics dont want to change. I know what your saying that you feel a connection some chemistry but you could be heading for danger. You can go with your heart but tread very carefully.

Be very careful! He's probably an alcoholic and won't quit until he hits rock bottom. Do you want to be there when that happens? It's not a pleasant thing I can tell you!
