Well, I'm an addicted smoker, and I hate all those things, but mostly I just hate feeling like a slave to cigarettes; that even if it's 20 degrees and sleeting outside, I HAVE to go out there and smoke, otherwise I am jittery and pissed off. Wish I had never started, but then again, there is still nothing like drinking a cold beer looking at the sunset and smoking a cigarette. It enhances the small pleasures of life. It really does.

Hmm... I know that a lot of people like the smell of gas because it gives them a sort of high.
This is kind of a wierd question but I think as long as you are not sniffing the pages for a long time you should be fine.
It is not like there is a health warning or anything.

I don't believe so otherwise they wouldn't sell them, I know some are very strong even you are trying not to smell them.

arsenic and other toxins were commonly used as color inks in art book publications many years ago. it is no longer done for safety reasons. smelling them should be ok, but i don't recommend eating them.
