Also, does anyone know if they provide a hair dryer? Or should I pack that too?

You cannot have irons in the room, as the other answers said. But, the laundry rooms do offer an iron and ironing board, so that can always be used. Personally, I would just as the room steward to take care of it for you. After all, you are on vacation, who wants to do laundry. The cost varies based on what you need ironed, but never runs more than $8 to $10.
As far as hairdryers, it will depend on your ship. Some of them do offer it, but I don't believe all of Carnival's ships have them. I would double check that your ship does before leaving yours at home (just remember the dryers provided are not always the best, so you may want to bring yours just in case. My sister had a problem on some ships getting the plug to fit in the area where the outlet was, so sometimes she had to use the room dryer anyway. )

irons are NOT allowed in the cabins. period. a small wattage HD is provided. Irons are available in the laundry rooms on several decks.
easier to pack some Downy Wrinkle Release spray and use that in conmjunction with the steam from the shower.

Irons aren't allowed in the cabins, but you can have them pressed by just asking your room steward to send them off. Also, most ships have hair dryers built into each cabin's bathroom.

A hair dryer i can understand OK ,but an iron ? Please. You are on a cruise enjoy, have fun, get wild, iron noway !
