how do you make a banana split? i havnt made one in a long time and ive forgotton how to make one. can any1 help me?! lol

Three scoops ice creme; with chocolate, strawberry and pineapple topping; a banana cut in two; topped with whipped creme and nuts ummmmmmmm!

Usually a long deep dish is required but any bowl might suffice.
Peel and split a ripe banana lengthwise and lay it cut side up along the edges of the bowl, the pieces parallel to each other.
Three scoops of ice cream, usually one vanilla, one chocolate and one strawberry are laid on the bananas and toppings are put on each one.
Traditionally, pineapple topping on the vanilla, hot chocolate fudge or chocolate syrup on the chocolate and strawberry topping on the strawberry.
Generous quantities of candied walnuts are spread all over and then topped with gobs of whipped cream, placing a maraschino cherry atop each heap of ice cream, toppings, nuts and whipped cream.
Voila! Classic Banana Split.
Versions differ and serving methods can be creative. Friendly's uses a goblet for their version and cuts the bananas lengthwise then in quarters and places them vertically along the inside of the goblet, filling the center with five scoops of ice cream and traditional toppings.

Okay! You're talking to a former soda jerk here! I'm talking hand dipped ice cream, fountain syrups, and blended malts, shakes and sodas. So, split your banana in half, lengthwise, lay in a long dish. One scoop vanilla ice cream, one scoop strawberry ice cream, and one scoop chocolate ice cream. Next, three of your favorite toppings. We used Carmel or Butterscotch, Pineapple or strawberry and chocolate. Top with a generous amount of whipped cream. Sprinkle with crushed peanuts and top with a cherry!

It's pretty self-explanatory. Just slice a banana in half (the long way) and put ice cream or anything you want on it.

You're such a BLOND!!!!!!! O.K. 3 scoops of vanella ice cream next to eachother. Cut a banana in half. One in each side. Smother it in chocolate and strawberry syrup!!!!!!LOL!!!!!!!!
