I'm 16 and single by choice. my friends say i am too picky do i really *gulp* need to lower my standards? Here is what i want in a man: be my ago or older, christian, hot face, hot body, preppy or skater, remantic sweet, loving, caring, funny, and fun to be around

Don't compromise! Stay strong, God has the right guy out there for you. Enjoy being a teen, adulthood comes way too fast. When you compromise you can end up in an unsafe environment.

Girl please 16? You got your whole life to live and to choose. No you are not too picky you just know what you want plus you have standards and that wonderful for a young lady your age. These days lotta women young and old lower there standards and then complain about why they getting treated so bad.

You can let teh physical stuff go a bit. I mean I understand that you do have to be physically attracted to someone but don't let that cloud your vision of what a good catch is. I wouldn't lower the standards but you can't be shallow either. Besides you're still young you have planty of time to find Mr. Right.

I am 23 and still single but that doesn't mean that I'm picky its just that i still haven't meet the right guy for me...so the same as you are...you don't have to lower your standards just because your friends say so...you just have to wait...the right man will just come...just enjoy being single and besides you're still young...enjoy being young you only get to experience it once...so just take it lightly...and don't burden your self just because your friends tell you you're picky anyways that's their discretion...it's up for you to decipher...

i dont think you are bing picky - you just have a certain type of guy that you like - but what if the nicest guy came along but didnt have a "hot face" or one of those other traits? maybe you should just look for someone who makes you happy and not your perfect little puppet - but girl - your still young focus on yourself, education and guys will come later - good luck

no girl stick to what you want in a man, that way you wont have anything below your standards... the closer you stay to them, the better equip man you shall get, remember that you wont be able to get the perfect guy, but if you stick to what you want, you will be able to get a very good altimatum, that you'll you'll be able to let 1 or 2 sly things go....
