Is it normal for my 2 year old to be acting like a dog, cat and ect..? Do you think he'll grow out of it, or do I have something to worry about?

Yes, quite normal. My 3 year old likes to act like a dog. Her friend is four and he likes to act like a cat.

I wouldn't worry unless your child did this all day, every day.

It is normal. My daughter is three and acts like a dog (we have 3 dogs). I used to pretend that I was a horse, and had most of the kids at recess pretending that they were horses too, and I like to think that I turned out ok.

It is very normal. My nephew and my daughter have always acted like animals. Making noises, crawling around on all fours and even trying to eat like one but i told them that its ok to act like that sometimes but they have to remember that they are humans not animals. They will grow out of it but it is good for them to play like that it builds the imagination. In fact i took my nephew to the doctors office with me for an appointment my daughter had and he was under the table and the doctor didnt know he was there and he growled like a lion and she freaked lol it was really funny she said he sounded like the real thing. dont worry its ok!

It's perfectly normal. Pretend play is an important part of a child's development :)

I would say it's 100% normal. It's imaginitive play. Good for their mind.

It's great! It shows he has an imagination. Don't worry about - just enjoy it.

perfectly normal, my daughter used to run around acting like a mouse, she'd tiptoe around and then lift up her leg and go, "PSHPSH" then tiptoe around again. I asked her what she was doing and she said she was a mouse peeing on everything.
