Well if you feel like she likes you, and your ex says you doesn't, it might be because your ex is jealous. Even if she's a nice girl she might be a bit jealous.
She's a tease if she flirts with you AND every other guy. If she gives all that attention to you in particular it's almost certain she likes you. She might be too shy to really say it directly though.

If the girl is really pretty you have to lay tricks on her. Like when you first see her at the beginning of the day at school you say hello. Then the next time you see her bump into her on accident then apoligize then you should start to talk to her. Then make up an excuse(your friend needs you,etc.)then walk away.
Question: Do you know her name? Does she know your name?(If not introduce your self, get to know her).
Important: Girls do act like a tease when they want a boy to notice them. So dont be fooled.Trust me im a girl my self and i do these things to boys.

i think your ex is a little jelous and trying to put you off this new girl - go ask her out, dont worry about your ex girlfriend as her true colours will come out when you and the new girl date - if she is a friend she will be happy for you - or she will be insanely jelous - but thats a part of growing up and we all have to go through that at many stages in our lives

I think she likes you. Your Ex might be jelous or just not sure, but i think she likes you. ask her out, something casual, like a cupple friends to a movie, if she says yes, she likes you! If not, she might not want to go with your friends or sometihng, so if im wrong, dont hurt me. Just Ask Her Out, the worst thing that could happen is she says No, and so what if she dose?

Play along with it, see what she wants. You don't have nothing to lose. Make a move. Your ex probably told you that she doesn't like you maybe because she is jealous, she still feels something for you. I would say go for it.
