If you need someone in your life to get over the ex boyfriend then your not ready to meet someone new. You need to grieve and be totally over your ex and be truly happy with yourself. If you rush it, the next relationship will not stand a chance (you'll always be thinking about your ex or comparing him to your new beau). Be sure that your wanting to meet someone new for the right reasons.
Go out with your friends and have some fun. I'm sure someone will be just waiting to meet you, just be sure your over your ex when this happens.
