Mr Macho is working you too hard. Tell him you need more time to get in shape or dump him. A woman trainer would be better, men push themselves (and others) too hard.

Also, during your period, you're low on red blood cells; that's a good week to take it easy.

You're too young to be worked hard. Take your time, finish growing before getting stress fractures or torn ligaments.

A cool shower or bath should ease the pain; not so cold that it hurts, but cooling the injured muscles will help reduce the swelling. Aspirin or Alleve (Sodium Naproxen) will work best.

If you lay on your back and push down on your hip bones (toward your feet), it will stretch your back muscles and should feel good. Heating muscles helps them relax, coolong them reduces swelling after injuries.

I hope you get better soon.

Good for you for keeping in shape, though!

Massaging the back muscles by applying pressure will reduce the pain.Apply an icepack to the affected area. This will make the area numb and reduce the pain or apply a hot water bottle, heating pad or a warm compress to the painful area of the back .Sometimes alternating a warm compress and an icepack will reduce the pain faster.
