Seems to me that threatening people with hellfire will most likely drive them away from your attempts at conversion. Why would any sane non-believer want to believe in a damnation-happy Cosmic Sadist?

Also, didn't Jesus say "judge not lest thou be judged, for the judgment ye give ye shalt receive"? Doesn't that mean that the J-Man will open up a Can o' Smite-**** on you if you damn others to hell?

It's a fear tactic that was especially effective with people in Europe and through out the ancient world.
People who fall for it aren't exactly good there just cowards.

Some people make the mistake that this means you should tolerate everything. The bible talks about hating whats bad and going away from it.

in the previous criticising the religion it might help in case you certainly found out sufficient approximately it to appropriate critique it. The bible does not tech that God needs to deliver every person to hell in actuality it says the choice. God isn't keen that vast apple could perish yet that each and one and all can come to repentance. it might aso help in case you understood what juding is and is not. by skill of no skill does the bible say to not choose strikes. If it did we would all be in favour of placing out prisons and freeing all people who have been judged. Edit: returned you willingly misrepresent what scripture teaches. Can God do all issues? sure interior the barriers of his character. he would not lie consequently he can not lie and so on. And it does not be loose will if he pressured peiple to pass to heaven whilst they of course have not interest in heaven or God. look a splash deeper. You owe it to your self to be user-friendly with your self.
