I'm agnostic, but is this interpretation correct:

If someone pimp slaps you, you should turn the other cheek so that they have to regular slap you and you aren't their ho'.

If you look more closely, you will see that Jesus said this in reference to an insult. Not physical contact. If a pimp should slap you and you follow Jesus's teaching a) run away or b) if you can't run, defend yourself if you must. And a follower of Jesus would avoid fornication, so Ho' should not describe them.

If I was a ho being pimp slapped, I would definetly not turn the other cheek.
1. It's bad enough he hit me on one side, Im not giving him the other.
2.He might think I was turning away from him, and being disrespectful.

It's funny you should mention that. I heard that the 'turn the other cheek' line, when understood in the context of the Jewish heritage, is similar to the situation you described (minus the whole pimp thing, of course). So, if that context is true, yes, it is a very similar parallel from 'modern' culture.

I've only heard that once, though, so I'm not sure how accurate it is.
