Did any one see the film Cromwell?
When Cromwell was still not persuaded to go to war he said to the General, "Its a strange thing General Ireton, but in every generation men have gone to war believing God was ontheir side, but I wander how many were on Gods side!"
That surely is the more relevant question. Not whose side is God on, but who is on Gods side?

Marduk was a god of war. By people's fruits you know them. There are thousands of fanatics parading as Muslims doing all sorts of evil stuff. Does that mean that all Muslims are evil?
The person that assassinated Rabin was Hebrew. Does that make all Hebrews bad? Use wisdom with your questions.

He would be on the side that was just.
(with the case being Tony and George tho, i think that letting the two of them battle it out between themselves would be more entertaining. of course it would have to be on public television because i know i wouldn't pay a cent to see that match.)

(sounds a bit like electing a leader of the Conservative Party doesn't it?)
