Okay RickBoy, before you do a restore, try this: Control panel> add/delete programs> select the detested software> click remove. You should be able to get full details from your help menu if you operate in Windows. If not, ask me a second question and I'll try to give full details.
WARNING: Unless you do a soft restore your computer will go back to factory settings. Better to 'bin' Nero and reload
Best regards

You can get rid of the updated nero by using system restore but this is not advisable as you can lose work and software that has been added after you bought the computer, system restore will put everything back to factory setting, if you do this you are probably best backing up your work.
as for how your updates got on to the computer, this has happened when you have been on the internet and the pc has automatically downloaded these in the background without you knowing, this can be stopped by going in to your system properties and turning off automatic updates.

Yes you can get rid of them using system restore because unlike microsoft windows updates software updates are not shown in the add/remove programs directory.

To download the latest version of Nero for free you can click here http://bit.ly/WhvYds
In the past, Nero was just software for burning CDs and DVDs, but over time, Nero has evolved into a complete multimedia suite that's both stable and high quality, suitable for both an amateur and semi-professional user.
