I think that a good portion is "dumbing down."

Working vocabulary is shrinking - this is a verifiable fact.
Too many rely upon hackneyed, meaningless slogans and labels for discourse.

I think that many are becoming obsessed with materialistic gain and losing "common courtesies."

I think many are like children; easily distracted by "shiny things."

There is a true lack of tolerance and compromise.

Too many have absolutely no comprehension of logical fallacies, and thus, not only think incorrectly - just as one can calculate figures incorrectly - and then spread their thoughts and feelings to others as fact.

I think we were all made from God himself and we are all his offspring. After reading many near death stories and the bible I think we may have existed in heaven before coming to earth. I think that we wanted to come here to go through extremely hard times so we could grow spiritually and so we could appreciate and love our God and all the little things much more. We are all like the son in the story of the prodigal son and we have lost our way and God sent Jesus to bring every one of us back home to him.
