No we haven't missed it, it won't happen until we learn to accept each other for what we are, and that has to happen before we even think about having faith in God

Because we haven't seen the end to war and violence.
(Matthew 24:21-22) 21 for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the world’s beginning until now, no, nor will occur again. 22 In fact, unless those days were cut short, no flesh would be saved; but on account of the chosen ones those days will be cut short.

We will know when it comes and afterwards those still living then will be living in peace.
As bad as things have been in the past, this is worse!
Don't think there is a chance we will miss it.

Because Satan is supposed to bound up for 1000 years after the 2nd coming and it's obvious that he is still here. If the 2nd coming is not as literal as we think it is then at least we'll know it is here when all the chaos in the world has stopped.

Great question.
From my point of view .... not so humble!!! ..... what was called the 2nd coming was probably thought of as that particular number of "coming" because the people of that area of the world were unworldly and had NO idea how many civilisations existed at the same time as theirs or before that date .... or after ..... it is a little small a concept .......as a friend of mine assured me one night when I was frightened at the state of the world, there are great saints everywhere at all times ..... it is just that we do not know about them, and that is exactly as they wish it...... not everyone wants to be known, and not everyone needs to be known in order to uplift humanity......

Peace & Love

The second coming of Jesus has not happened. How do I know? Because there is still sin, and hate, and greed and pain and death and tears in the world. When Jesus returns all of these will cease to exist along with this world we now live in.

Everyone will know when the second coming happens, as it says in the Bible

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him (Revelation 1:7)
