Fui a Boston.
Fui al museo de ciencias (you didn't capitalize it in you question, so I assumed it wasn't a proper name, thus it's translated).

I went to Boston= Yo fui a Boston
I went to the Science Museum= Yo fui al Mueseo de Ciencias.
