When you cut yourself and it heals you are always left with a scar, that is what happens with our hearts when they are broken. Our hearts are full of tiny little scars which remind us of lost loves, we don't forget them we just move on.
The way in which we move on is different for everyone so there really is no correct answer to this question. All i will say is, and i know it is said over and over again but time really is a good healer.
You just need to be patient.

My first love and the person I lost my virginity to are two VERY separate people!! I mended my broken heart by moving 13,000 miles away, to the other side of the planet. But I'd never claim my heart was totally mended ... just repaired enough for me to move on.

Firstly, be grateful for the ability to feel and breathe life as strongly as you do, it's a rare gift nowadays and secondly, give it time. Time mends a broken heart, provided you are willing to become a better person through your experiences. Realize you are one step closer to self-knowledge.

Strength is in weakness. Understand this and it will mend more than a broken heart.

mmm. I dont know if that really ever happens fully, but mainly I think it comes down to a personal choice within yourself of how you choose to look at the situation and what you choose to learn from it. Ofcourse another key is how you choose to use it in the future, I personaly believe life is all about lessons and learning from our what we think are bad experiences. Good Luck though Kim

get a surgery. actually just forget about that person and tell yourself that you don't care anymore. ok and listen to songs that could make you dance so hyper. yeah well enjoy your life and don't waste your time thinking about your heart being broken so bad just like i do.

im sorry to hear you have a broken hear dear...i know it sucks..it feels horrible, but i think the only thing that helps is realizing that it is temporary and soon you will not feel this way. the only thing that truely helps is time.
