Your environmentally aware thinking is to be commended but alas, the matter has already been considered and adjudicated upon. The investigation established that the power required to operate the electric chair, would in fact drain so much solar energy from the sun that it would implode. It is accepted that global warming would no longer be an issue since there would be no sun, however the decision not to use solar energy for this purpose was eventually reached after considering that a single suicide electrocutionee could in fact destroy the earth were such a system to be implemented.

Why not utilize all of our resources and just inject them with green house gases? And what the hell is these peoples problem there are many soldiers who would really go for this prize, compared to spending years in that $hithole, even if they had to eat falafel from a dirty street vendor, and have the $hits the entire time. No flight, no catering? I guess your not affiliated with U.S. Contractors, so maybe you do provide body armor.LOL. oh, and you can keep the Koran, They'll need a real bible.

Did you notice that on the Simpson's, "Lisa the Tree Hugger"? yet a windmill can generate extra juice. deadly injection is a stupid thank you to kill somebody. it incredibly is the least painful thank you to die! I wish i'd desire to have a death that non violent whilst my time comes, quite of an excruciating heart attack. Why advantages the criminals? besides, the death penalty is on carry, back! it incredibly is no longer smart because of the fact it incredibly is no longer used adequate. i'd quite we've a Superjail, like the caricature. shall we've prisoners kill one yet another in a Coliseum! 2,000,000 inmates = a million,000,000 1st around fits! Or we could make a activity practice like the working guy. Or we can do what the Romans did & line up a mile of criminals alongside the line & crucify them! i prefer to be certain lakes of blood and hear the shrieks of the wicked! whilst criminals experience eternal terror, then we could have peace!

what planet are you from. the U.S. hasn't executed anyone with the electric chair in a quarter of a century. we now give what jerks like you want, a nice sedative and a gentle kiss of death. and as for the Koran, bring it on, been wanting to see what so great about it anyway.

Electric chairs don't add to "greenhouse gasses". Also a solar powered chair would have to generate 2000 volts. You would need hundreds of solar panels to do that.

why execute prisoners anyways??!

something like 122 prisoners have been released that were on death row..tht wld mean 122 unnecessary deaths!

we had some dude who had been on death row for 22 years in to talk to us the other day and he had been proven innocent by DNA

so like dont kill at all.. life imprisonment! like in there till you die!!

itl be better for the environment if they die of natural causes lol

but anyways... using solar powered chairs wldnt get rid of the fact of cars and factories n stuff lol...

!

Why don't they call up their citizens for public "execution" duty? It'd work like this:

Lay the prisoner on the ground.
The citizen climbs up on to a 6" high piece of wood.
You wait a moment for him to get his breath back.
He then belly-flops on to the prisoner.

Total cost to the environment: virtually zero.

The problem is generating amps. Generating high voltage is easy with a solar voltaic. But generating sufficient amps to fry them quickly enough is a problem. I suppose you could let them cook awhile, but who has the time?

most executions happen at night when the demand for electricity is low.

Sun powered electric chairs would not work at night.
