A guy that i have known for years but just started talkin to him every now and then is so nervous around me, and its hard to talk to someone like that cause when i see that it makes me nervous, is there any advice that i can use to have him feel not so nervous around me, i mean just to hang out as friends hes nervous... lol! Yes 2 things-
1st. Try to act a little more shy towards him and everyone else (temporarily). Don't hang out with a big group of friends and be all loud. This will make him feel better, a shy guy will feel a lot less shy toward a shy girl than a social girl.
2nd- Randomly kiss him. After that, talking to you should be a lot easier. After all he did just kiss you (well you kissed him but still), so what's talking.

Put him at ease by telling him how much you like him as a friend and if you want to go out with him as more than a friend then tell him. It might make him less nervous if you tell him that YOU get nervous around him too.

im just like him i hate public speaking and i am quiet around every1 except my closes friends. Lately i ahve been talking a bit to girls who want to be my friend. The best thing they ever did was say hi to me and talk to me about things im interested in. Just try and get 2 know him he will start talking adventually

it will take him awhile to break out of his shell. There is nothing wrong with being shy..if you like him thats all that matters
