It would certainly depend on what you mean by love. Agape type love that is spoke of in the Bible is the type of love that does what is best for the other person despite how we might feel about the situation. Sometimes this manifests itself in an emotional type love but this can also require what some would term as "tough love". As a Christian I try each day to "love" my enemies but somedays the best I can truly do is to pray for them and then try not to think about them the rest of the day lest anger come.

First you have to determine whether your enemy is a mad dog or not. If they are a mad dog, you kill them. If they are not, you be kind to them, and try to win them over.
