My parents of two different religions married, decided that their children brought up in a life where's to be able to chose their own religion at their own comfort.
As years went by we did and didn't religiously go to church.
All of us never in trouble, great respect for life and it's offering.
My parents raises us with kindness, love, always treated
mankind with respect.
Mon & Dad taugh us to see a person as not colour nor race, but for their ownself.
Hate was not a word to be taking lightly in our home.
We all one in every aspect of the word treated equaly.
WE DO NOT PUSH NOR MOCK THE WORD, HOLLY BIBLE OR GOD.
I myself always keep an open mind to all beliefs.

So my question /s are:
Can a good man live without God?
I'm I Atheist, Christan.
What am I classified as?

Please keep an open mind to the questions without be so quick to judge.

Thank you all answers.
All will be taking in to account with a great deal of thought.

Ashton- So right thank you.
Also you that say I'm crasy will burn in hell- Who are you to judge, If you truly know the bible, is there not a line that reads : Thou shall not judge or cast judgement?
It is like Ashton said- Maybe go read his posting!
The bible is a learning tool. Mean less if just taking out of content, Price less if followed.

You don't need a God to leave a tip, you don't need a God to save anothers life, you don't need a God to donate to charity, you don't need a God to have morals, and you don't need a God to be a good person.

Anyone can do anything with their own lives, believing in a God doesn't make you automatically good and not believing in one doesn't make you automatically bad.

"Can a good man live without God?"
I can consider myself a good man, since I know I am for sure and people around me always tell how honest I try to be. I can live without a God, I just don't believe in the God most people think off. When you say God, often enough people think you are reffering to a Christian God, while my god is the god of unconditional love; which I have found after a search of more then 8 years.

"I'm I Atheist, Christan. What am I classified as?"
As an atheist, but more so as a good man. Keep that in mind!

The question I have for you is what do YOU think about the three questions you've just asked.. Here people can lablel you as a good man or an atheirst but only at the end of the day know yourself well enough to answer these questions and whatever you choose be happy with it because that is who you are..

I've been an atheist most of my adult life. I'm also a nurse, I've never been in trouble with the law, I have the respect of my professional peers, and my patients like me. I never punched my father's lights out, even when he deserved it. Am I a good person? Most days, I believe I am.
Oh, by the way: With respect, you can't be an "Atheist Christian." That's an oxymoron.

You can live a good, moral life without God but if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior your soul will go to Hell. Going to church does not make you a Christian either. Being a Christian means having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. In my opinion this is what lot of people forget. As a Christian, my responsibility is to tell you about Jesus Christ not shove it down your throat.I think you asking is a sign of you looking for the right answer. In the eyes of God, we are all viewd as sinners If we have faith in Jesus Christ God sees us as clean. I tried to answer this with respect for you. If you want to talk more about it contact me.

There are plenty of people who live good, fulfilling lives without believing in God. Just as there are people who believe in God, yet still commit sin.

Unfortunately for those who do good, it is fruitless for the afterlife, where you will spend eternity in Hell for not believing. The only unforgivable sin is to believe in something other than God.

Yes, of course.

As to how you are classified, that depends a whole lot on your stand about rather there is a god and what god. All you really told us was ethics and that could be anything.

There are plenty of good people without a god, and plenty of bad ones with one (and vice versa of course). Religion has nothing to do with how you live your life.

A person can be "good" regardless of their religion, however "good" compared to what? Good compared to other people? Certainly. But according to what I believe, we are not judged according to how we compare to other people, but how we compare against God's law. If we are sinful (which we all are) then we all need sanctification. Someone can go their entire life without breaking one secular law, but they could still greatly trespass against God's law.

I'm an atheist, and I consider myself to be a good man, living without any god(s).
