If you're trying to convert somebody to Christianity, why threaten them with damnation? Why would any sane atheist want to believe in a damnation-happy Cosmic Sadist?

Besides, Jesus said that "Judge not lest thou be judged, for the judgment ye give ye shall receive". In the event that Christianity turns out to be true (0.0000000001%), doesn't this mean that Jesus will open up a Can o' Smite-*** upon those of you pseudo-Christians who enjoy damning others to hell?

Maybe it works for weaklings and cowards....but they will keep at it anyway. They enjoy using capital letters to tell everyone that IF THEY DON'T ACCEPT JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR THEY WILL BURN IN HELL FOREVER. Why they think anyone will have a positive reaction to that is beyond me.

It's a fear tactic that was especially effective with people in Europe and through out the ancient world.
People who fall for it aren't exactly good there just cowards.

"Also, didn't Jesus say "judge not lest thou be judged, for the judgment ye give ye shalt receive"? Doesn't that mean that the J-Man will open up a Can o' Smite-**** on you if you damn others to hell?"

Some people make the mistake that this means you should tolerate everything. The bible talks about hating whats bad and going away from it.
Your also required to let people know things that are for there own good.
Ezekiel 3:17-19.

formerly criticising the religion it may help in case you relatively found out sufficient approximately it to good critique it. The bible would not tech that God needs to deliver everybody to hell in reality it says the different. God isn't prepared that extensive apple could perish yet that each and each you will come to repentance. it may aso help in case you understood what juding is and is no longer. below no circumstances does the bible say to no longer decide movements. If it did we'd all be in favour of beginning prisons and freeing all people who have been judged. Edit: back you willingly misrepresent what scripture teaches. Can God do all issues? specific interior the obstacles of his character. he would not lie as a result he can not lie and so on. And it would not be loose will if he compelled peiple to flow to heaven whilst they of course have not pastime in heaven or God. seem somewhat deeper. You owe it to your self to be truthful with your self.
