My wife and I are trying to come to a decision of where we want to live in Oregon. Crime rates and population tells alot.

Move to Southern Oregon instead (Medford/Grants Pass area).

Eugene stinks, IMHO because it's too overrun by liberals. I guarantee that you'll find a satisfactory lower crime rate in the southern part of the state.

its not that bad....eugene is nothing compared to another city of its size. If there are any crime problems it is just minor petty stuff and mainly near the university. move to west eugene or north eugene...just make sure you become a DUCK fan when you get here, otherwise you may fall victim to a hate crime.

Any part of Oregan should be good.ver away from PHX it is bad,crime is ramped
