As every one stated be patient, read to your baby play with him/her, sing, dance go for walks with him/her. Also remember to take some time for yourself, while the baby is sleeping take a hot bubble bath with your favorite relaxing music playing softly (to make sure you hear the baby if it awakes) or ask you mom or a family member you trust to watch the baby for an hour or two once a week so you have some you time. You should also look into a mommy and me group they can help too.
Best of luck

Well, for starters, the basic tips are to let your child have a mind of their own, and allow them to make their own mistakes. As a mom you should just try to build a strong and close relationship with your children. If they think of you as a understanding person, then they will come to you when their in trouble. Dont let them think that if they mess up then they are on their own. I'm sure you will be a great mom. Dont worry.

when you feel overwhelmed, take a step back and breathe! I have two babies-- 17 months apart. Some days you want to cry but you will have those moments when your baby smiles at you or does something that makes you laugh and those are the moments when nothing else matters-- not the peaches on the wall, not the piles of dirty clothes and toys and well you'll know what I mean soon enough;) Babies are a blessing and don't let their size fool you... they are your biggest fan!!

Just know that your baby needs you for the first year alot. It is not spoiling to hold them and cuddle with them all of the time. Patience is needed though. Just love your children and ignore alot of ppl that tell you different. goodluck

If you ever feel like your going to lose it, put the baby someplace safe (like in their crib) and give yourself a time out.
