Occupy your time with many other things you enjoy doing that do not involve this boy. Travel, study something for self-improvement, visit with friends, talk with friends and relatives, meet new people, learn another language or learn a craft. Whatever you do avoid listening to romantic music, things that he gave you when you were getting along, love stories, people who make you feel bad about being alone and places where the two of you used to go, unless you go with someone else. Time, distance and new interests and new and better friendships will help you to get over him. Best wishes.

I once liked the same boy for six years, he never knew it. I finally got smart and picked up a book - they took his place and I have loved 100 different boys:

(ideas, countries, poets, athletes, songs, films, musicians, cultures, et al)

since.

It's really hard but you just have to move on. Try and look for some one else or if you do really like him why don't you tell him? he might like you to.
