Depends on when you filed. It is always faster get a refund if you file online, but....file sooner, get a refund in less time. For example, I mailed my son's return on Feb 2 & he got his refund w/in 2wks. If you wait to file until April 17, you may not get it until June.

Probably 4-6 weeks, maybe a little longer, if you filed on paper, 3-4 weeks if you e-filed. Next time you can get it faster by having it direct deposited into your bank account - that will save about a week and a half.

Approximately a couple of weeks less than a month for the first check. The second check takes approximately a month after.
