You have to study who are the possible the users of the product aside from the known users. A product is hard to sell if the buyer does not get an advantage for buying it. If there is benefit then you can sell it to user. Your price should should the cost benefit to the user.
Another point is to make sure that the user has the money to buy the product. It is useless to sell to somebody who has no money unless he is able to get a loan by the use of his other resources. That means that if yourself will allow payment in installment, you may be able to sell to him. You offer also financing and earn more from the equivalent interest payment.
Knowing all those things you need to find those people, make appointments, make interviews, submit proposals, give a deadline for decision or validity of your offers, and follow up for more discussions to convince them to buy. You can invite them and see the product in use in other users. There are more to it. You need to attend a seminar or purchase a book on salesmanship.
