if your a very busy family...
a dog is not a good choice
they need lots of care, attention, and love
and if your not there to give it to them
then it just won't be good

A stuffed one. That was not meant to be ugly or sarcastic, but if everyone is busy, that means that no one has time to take care of the dog. As a puppy or a full grown dog, they need a lot of love and attention, which means taking the time on a regular basis to interact with the dog...time, attention, playing, feeding, watering, walking, attention, attention, attention. There are so many dogs that sit in their backyard alone, developing psychological problems because of lack of interaction. Unfortunately, they are not a toy that can be played with and then left alone. Please think long and hard about the decision to get a dog, and then if you honestly think that there is time in your family's busy life, think about getting one from a local shelter. They are the rejected ones, possibly a dog from a family that was too busy to take care of.

I would say a small dog that is good with kids !!! You might want to go to the shelter and adopt a dog that way you dont have to train it since you have so many kids

If I were you, I wouldn't get a dog at all. Instead, I would get a cat or snake because they are both good being alone. Dogs like company,so unless you will bring him/her everywhere and be able to give them a TON! of attention, I wouldn't get one.

If you are super busy and really don't have the time to give to a dog, I'd say none.

you want a dog that can guard the house and help you with your kids and also a dog that is playful but not mean....and loves kids so be sure to ask you local pet store for the right dog....

If you are away from home a lot, then no dog unless you want a little one you can take everywhere with you. Dogs are not meant to be home alone.

Keeshonds. They're wonderfully friendly dogs. Cute as a button too. About medium sized, fluffy by nature, but you can always just have their fur cut down to a manageable length (Unless you live in a cold region. Then let them keep their fur.)

Do you go outside a lot?If so a golden retriever is probably best.Good with kids,it can be indoors or outdoors, and they're not to hard to train.
