My boyfriend is deployed for six months, which isnt really that long, but feels like forever. So to cheer both of us up, I want to make a list of something that takes six months to do... for example.... My next teeth cleaning appointment wont be until hes back, I bought a bottle of juice that wont expire until after he comes back... LOL I know its cheesy, but little things like that make it seem so much eaiser to deal with.... anyother ideas to add??

Ya not kidding Dluv.... thanks for bringing me down, don't you think I realize this?? If I think like that this six months will kill me. So PLEASE people, just stay postive and dont say **** like that when Im happy and in a good mood. Obviously thats on my mind, but I cant even function when I think of that. So just .... dont remind me.... answer my question and dont bring that up... I know it can happen though, but Im going to act like its not until it actually does, IF it does...

When I deployed last year my wife bought a bag of M & Ms and counted out 180 of them and put them in a bowl. Then everyday she would eat one at lunch. So, not necessarily something that lasted 6 months, but something she could look at from time to time and see the pile shrinking.

You might want to start thinking of things that will last beyond six months. If Bush goes through with his increase in troop deployment, he may require (and probably will) that your boyfriend extend his deployment to at least 7 months or more.

That's actually kind of cute. I think I'll remember this... apparently, it takes six months to optimize sperm quality: http://www.proxeed.com/faqs.asp or to replace a small piece of plastic for your coffee machine: http://consumerist.com/consumer/delonghi/delonghi-takes-six-months-to-replace-fivecent-piece-of-plastic-235697.php or to produce the bird-flu vaccine: http://www.latimes.com/features/health/la-he-lab29jan29,1,3832186.story?coll=la-headlines-health

hope you have a laugh.
