On the one hand, by adequately arming them, we will keep other countries from attacking or taking advantage of them.

And at the same time, doesn't everyone agree that "Nuclear weapons don't kill people, people kill people."?

The vast majority of the countries that you are talking about would be like handing a loaded weapon to a two-year old.

Most of these countries can NOT even maintain a stable govenment for 6 months, educate their citizens, feed them house them or offer a minimum quality of life.

How are they going to deal with Nuclear Weapons that require care so that they do not become a hazard to the environment that we ALL SHARE?

Why do suppose that the US and the other super powers have STOPPED Nuclear tests? DUH, they learned that every one burned a BIGGER hole in the ozone layer.

Let's see India has people that make a living digging out people ear wax with a bicycle spoke, limited human rights and they spend a TON of money on a missle program. Kind of like the guy that drives a new BMW while his kids starve.

Now you have the religious intolerance that makes a person BAD because of how they worship or don't, dressing the wrong way is a punishable offence and women are treated as PROPERTY! These "leaders" can't even handle the basics, how are they going to deal with a Nuclear Program?

"Guns don't kill people, etc. is true. People kill people and REALLY DUMB ones do it more often than others. Many of the prisioners in the US system lack education and used a gun because they were incapable of dealing with conflict with reason.

Therefore the World Powers are keeping the loaded guns locked away so that they are used incorrectly during a temper tantrum or a session of "I wonder what would happen if"?

The countries that do NOT have Nuclear weapons do NOT for few reasons. They don't have the natural resources, the education base or the common sense to know that they are a DETERANT ONLY and NOT to be used.

It is BALANCE of POWER and Iran has messed with the whole deal with the help of Russia. N. Korea and China have come to an understanding and it was accomplished without a shot fired; they have the intelligence to REASON.

When was the last time that Iran did ANYTHING of importance to benefit the WORLD? NEVER!! Have they come up with a cure for a disease and shared it? Water purification, agriculture, literature, transportation, human rights; they can't even claim to have invented the roller coaster! They haven't done S*** except be a boil on the butt of the world. They weren't even smart enough to find their own oil!

India invented CHEAP LABOR and call centers; I am REALLY glad that they came up with THAT idea!

So sure give them all Nuclear weapons! Just like we gave underpriveledged Americans a place to live and they promply tore out the toilets to SELL for their own personal benefit.

It just isn't a simple problem.

Your argument is completely warped.

The purpose of a nuclear weapon is to kill as many people as possible at one time. There is a reason countries are worried when such places like North Korea or Iran have nuclear weapons because there is a chance that they will either sell nuclear materials to people who will use them in terrorist actions, or that these countries may use them offensively.

Unlike a firearm, a nuclear weapon has no other application. You can use a firearm for personal protection, hunting, and shooting sports, to list a few. Of course, nobody should have or use a firearm unless they can use it properly, which requires knowledge, training, and experience.

And yes, people do kill people - the weapon they choose is just that, a tool to kill people. People were killing each other before they had guns, using swords and pikes. People still kill each other in knife fights or with other destructive devices. A nuke that is sitting at the bottom of a bunker is no danger - the people who are able to employ that nuke are.

I definitely agree that nuclear weapons don't kill people, people kill people. I would extend that to all weapons though. In answer to your first question, no, I'm pretty sure the NRA doesn't think we should start handing nukes out to everyone. That would be ridiculous.

Yes, I'm pretty sure the Founding Fathers were talking about giving nukes to Iran when they wrote the Right to Bear Arms into the Constitution. Jefferson had a Quran, you know. He was probably a Muslim!

dude...no...thats not logic...thats a bunch of sh*t that I hope you dont compare a gun to a nuclear weapon. A gun...one person at a time, a nuclear weapon...100,000 people at a time. see the diffrence

You are looking at it as if all weapons can do equal damage. Simplistic logic again!
