Why would minors need to buy any lighters? They can not buy cigarettes. Minors should to not be able to buy lighters or cigarettes, a smelly and nasty habit, don't start it in the first place. You will be happy you didn't when older, and save your health and not waste your money either!

They shouldn't be able to, but yeah, I think they can, well, in Australia anyway. If u r a minor u shouldn't be smoking, hell, no one should be smoking. I assume that's what u want a lighter for. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Yep. It's just a lighter. You can't buy cigs, but you can still buy condoms and lube.

Well that's how it is where I live. If they tell you no, just say that I know my rights. If I'm wrong, supposing we live in different places, buy some matches, those are cooler anyway.
