It all has to do with afterlife.
You decide how you want to spend eternity, and there will be a form of religion to see you there.

..Although, each Heaven has a specific map in which to get there. None of it is a *given*, and no mere mortal can judge who gets to go where..

If you want to go to Christ's heaven. You follow his teachings. No more, no less.
You want Allah's heaven, you adhere to al-Qur'an.
Reincarnation? You will be enlightened by the Bhagavad-Gita, and live a Hindu life.
Mysticism? And more of an Earthly worship? there's Celtic and Native Shamanism.
..and if you truly don't care when you end up after your old' bag of skin and bones expire, then you can spend the 60 or 120 years here on Earth, not believing in anything at all...

..So the "real" one, will be the one that brings you to your final resting place.
..and if we could put it as simply as this, i think we'd find ourselves less bothered to point out the inconsistencies, and hypocrisies.

1. What does religion have to do with God? Some religious beliefs have nothing to do with anything real.
2. Yes, because Christians have everything to do with God, which is a belief in a reality.

man's innate need to know His Creator created all "religions" - However, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the ONLY God that is real. He revealed Himself through mighty miracles, the giving of His Law and the Written Word. He gave detailed prophecies that have been fulfilled thousands of years after the prophecy was given. He has one story line from Genesis to Revelation written by over 40 writers (over centuries of time) but one Author (the Holy Spirit). He has been attested to by millions throughout time with ongoing miracles in the lives of His people and the truth of His Word. When something actually works, changes lives, gives peace and joy to the soul and has stood the test of time - why do you fight against it so hard? When Truth touches the soul - the soul knows. It may be suppressed, rationalized against, rejected whatever - but in that moment - it KNOWS. Christ is the only one with God blood on a cross and an empty tomb at the end of it.

Islam is the one true religion of God. Hindi and idol worshipping were man made religions. Christianity and Judaism are not man made religions but the present Christians and Jews do not follow the true beliefs of the real beliefs. That is why Islam is the true religion in modern day.

Religions are merely man's perceptions of God. Christians insist they are right (even though they can't even agree among themselves) Other religions obviously think they are right. Maybe no one has it right.

Yet I seriously doubt that God cares in any tiny, little way what religion people belong to. God cares how you act, not where you go to church.

Christianity is the true religion. Sin has blinded mans eyes and mind. So man needs to worship something, so false gods are created.

Christians do. I don't. If God exists, He certainly doesn't have ties to any particular religion.

The first commandment is : "I am the LORD (Yahweh) your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before Me." (Exodus 20:2,3)
In this we see that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, which is the name He designated as that which would distinguish Him from all the other so-called gods of the world,(see Exodus 3:15) both acknowledges the existence of other false gods, and insists that complete allegiance be given to Him. Remember this is the God who in the last year demonstrated Himself to the Israelites as the living and true God by numerous awesome demonstrations of His power, such as the ten plagues and parting the Red Sea, proving Himself to be the true God. It was only a matter of days afterwards when the children of Israel fashioned a golden calf and declared "This is your god, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt."
God wasn't doing things according to their liking, so immediately they make a god according to their own imagination.
The God of the Bible is the God who has demonstrated Himself in human history as the true, miracle working God. After performing many signs and wonders through the Lord Jesus Christ, He raised Him from the dead, proving to the world that He was God's appointed Savior and had full authority from God to declare this: "Truly, truly I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me (that is, God the Father), has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life." (John 5:24)
I for one have come to know that He is the One true God because 36 years ago when I was strung out on drugs and had made a pretty good mess of my life by the time I was 18, He revealed Himself to me as the One who loved me and died on a cross for my sins. Since then my life has taken a totally new direction, and I live today free from fear, free from anxiety about the future, filled with peace and hope and faith and love; free from drugs and alcohol and living a contented productive life, awaiting the soon appearing of His Kingdom. 3500 years ago God predicted by Moses that He would regather the children of Israel into the the land of Israel before sending His Messiah, or Christ to set up his earthly Kingdom (See Deuteronomy 30:1-5). In 1948 700,000 poorly armed Jews successfully defended themselves against 40 million heavily armed Arabs who tried to drive them into the sea, and against impossible odds, the modern day Nation of Israel was formed. This didn't happen by chance, but by the intervention of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
He is the true God, and everything He says in His Word, the Bible, is the truth and either has, or shortly will come to pass.
