Steroids don't work.
Weight loss pills don't work either.

Excessive workouts? It doesn't have to be excessive... just 30 minutes of intentional exercise, 3 times a week. A nice long walk does the trick... so would a bike ride, carrying your clubs instead of using the golfcart, going ice skating instead of to a movie... little things like this add up.

As for what you eat, if you count calories and keep it within a restricted range, you can eat whatever you want... as long as you watch your portion sizes. It's not the most satisfying thing in the world, which is why most people will change WHAT they eat, not just HOW MUCH.

No matter what you try, you don't seem to have the right attitude, so it doesn't look like you will see success. Sorry to be blunt, but until you are ready to look at the unhealthy habits in your life that cause you to gain weight, you will never have a permanent solution. Change your habits... change your life.

Good luck!

Weight is gained because you take in more calories than your body burns off. You can just cut some calories that you consume like snacks just eat three meals a day. You don't have to do excessive workout. Just go walking for 30 min three days a week and that will help. As far as steroids that puts weight on. Over the counter diet pills work for a few days but then your body adjust to them and they don't work. Prescription diet pills are addictive and will raise your blood pressure and are bad for your heart. Good luck when you make up your mind and are determined you can do it!!!

You do not need excessive workouts and crazy diets. You need just moderate workouts (at least 30 minutes/ at least 4 times a week, which is not that much at all). You also need a balanced (not crazy restrictive diet). If you are too lazy to do that, then you're out of luck

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
