I was Muslim. I was part of a group that taught religiously from the Holy Koran. I used to hate Christians with a passion. I guess the spirit of religion does that: causes you to believe that whatever flock you belong to is the best, when God says that all have sinned and fallen short.
One day, i kept stumbling upon Suras whereby Prophet Mo hammed P.B.U.H kept exhorting Muslims to seek the Torah and that Jeshua had been sent to confirm the Torah with signs and miracles. He affirmed that Jeshua spoke the truth in infancy and that He resurrected.
Then I began reading the Torah in Hebrew and English and I found that everywhere Gentiles mistranslated texts, a new sect emerged. Next I began reading the translated Bible codes and new Codes fro Solomon's Temple--now revealed. When I realized that the entire legacy of Abraham's seed, even the adopted ones were prophetically stored in the Torah, I realized that I was following the prophetic desert religions out of the seed of Esau and not Isaac the covenant heir.

I am now part of a group working wiht Jews and Arabs trying to reconcile all of Abraham's seed through prayer and not murder.

It would be incorrect to say I denounced it.

You denounce a thing that exists. I denounce the holocaust -- it was a horrible and vile thing that should never have happened. I denounce the 9/11 terrorists -- they were evil.

I simply no longer believe. I no longer operate on the basis of belief at all, religious or otherwise.

I was Catholic, however, to answer the question you are getting at.

I did not and would not "denounce" my former denomination. I respect the the right of others to hold religious beliefs with which I do not agree.

I suspect that if the biblical Jesus were here today, he would not think much of any of the organized religions.
