No way.

While the world could be a LOT better there is no such thing as a perfect world. Imaging trying to bring up a baby when African Americans were being beaten by cops for trying to eat in a resturant with whites, or raising a little girl in a world where she was considered inferior and couldn't vote.

If no one brought bright, caring children into the world things would REALLY go down the drain. In fact we need mroe good, smart people with strong values and a good heart.

As long as you are willing to make the effort to try and raise your child lovingly and encourage your child to make the world a better place then what could be wrong with it?

It's wrong NOT TO bring a child into this world, with all of the bad things going on today.

There are bad things going on all the time, during all parts of history and I can give you my promise will continue going on in the future so:

What does that have to do with bringing another child into the world. Do you want kids, are you financially and emotionally ready to have kids, do you think you would be a good parent?

If any of those elicits a no response, than don't have a child.

I have asked myself this same question. Look at it this way, You have an oportunity to bring someone into this world that can make a positive difference in our daily lives so long as they are brought up by a parent that can teach them values and morals. If you find you have the ability to be a loving, patient parent then you almost owe it to society to raise a child that will have a positive effect on todays world. However if you do not find these values in yourself then you will simply fail as a parent and will bring yet another bad apple into todays society.

you as a parent will be able to sheild your child from a lot of the things going on in the world. What would happen if we all thought it was bad to bring a child into the world, we wouldn't have a world after our generation.

Sometimes it might feel that way, but that's if you focus on the negative. There is a lot of positive in the world too, and your child can make the world a better place.

The biggest thing that is wrong with this world is the growing population. Traffic, no places to get away. Everyone's in a hurry. fast food. Fast this, fast that. Need it to be like it used to be. Father goes to work. Mother stays home and raises good kids and homecooked meals. Healthy eating. It's not a knock against women. Being a mother is the toughest job in world. Need family values back.

I used to think that before having kids- that I don't want to bring a life into a world where there's so much hate and crime. But that's why I do the best I can to love them no matter what and teach them not to judge anyone, and see the good in people.

What bad things are going on today?

My grandparents had kids during the Great Depression - my parents had me during the Vietnam War and birth of Liberalism(cannot get any worse than that).

My wife was knocked up during 9/11.

Just get on with your life and don't worry about the negative crap that Liberals want you to think is happening.

The sun still comes up every morning, it snows in the winter, and melts in the spring.

Yes....I do.....I would feel really bad if we were just starting a kid now. I think the next 30 years or so is going to be a dramatic decrease in the standards of living.

Kids are NOT necessary for a happy, fulfilling life. Volunteer at schools or daycare centers.....do some tutoring.....be a big brother or sister.....You'll get your fill, I promise.
